Furi Station
Furi Station and Gorner Glacier Through the Ages Trail
The photograph to the right shows one of the information panels on the trail. This panel gives a map of the maximum extent of the glacier close to the Furi lift station, shown in the upper right corner of the photograph.

The photograph below shows part of the small vegetated lateral moraine of the glacier.


The trail takes you through the Glacier Garden with very large potholes as shown above carved into the rock by meltwater during past glacial melting.
